Hello All,

I've just got RAVE working on my mac so I can read it properly. Before I was just opening the .pdfs directly, but now I'm running some virtual windows box on my mac that's allowed me to view RAVE in all it's menu driven glory.

It would appear that all my electrical manuals are for the NAS version of the car.

This would (partly) explain why I was having such trouble finding the correct wires to the ECU when installing my LPG system the other week. (all up and running nicely thanks for asking)

Is there a preferred version of RAVE I can get that only has UK spec P38a diagrams on it? If so what version of RAVE should I be looking for?

Finally, where oh where oh where do I find such a thing? I'd try eBay or beyond, but I don't want to spend money on something I already have, and that isn't much good to my car!

I downloaded the one I've got from t'internet and it's the NAS version.

I wouldn't mind paying £2 if I could guarantee it being UK!

I have found the UK versions too.

The one we need in the UK comes as a .zip of 3 disc images. It has the Accessory fitting instructions, annual inspection checklists, pre-delivery checklists, and the special service tools catalogue! All very useful. It's not very big. If anyone wants it, PM me and I'll send it you on a wetransfer.com link.

If you haven't got a CD burner, you'll need to download some free shareware like Virtual Clone Drive to run the disc images.

Why do you not just download the Zip file on the link i supplied it has all that. Did you spend your honeymoon stood up in a canoe?

i tried it Wammers. it wouldnt open for me after extracting the files. said my PDF reader was too high :) and i would need a plug in to get it to read. even tried each file individually as well. the link you gave was for acrobat reader 4, i have 10.

Ha! No I already had the other version on my computer, I just hadn't used it. One came from Land Rover Resource (the NAS one) and the other was a torrent I found I think.

Can we put that link in the How To section, it'll be useful for generations to come.

Ain't it already in the FAQ section ?

Peeps just don't look :(.

FAQ for the whole site though, not the Range Rover How To bit. You'd very likely not look there if you were looking here, in the Range Rover bit, for advice on repairing your Range Rover.

At least I would.

Wouldn't it be sensible to post it in both places, I don't look at the rest of the site much. Why would I want to read about repairing a Defender?

(And that Green Oval link appears to be down)

Rave works perfectly on a Mac you need to do some serious updates!

Don't bother putting a dual boot or parallel (windoze/OSX) the whole point of buying a Mac is to get away from Windoze and the million billion virus' out there!

I suggest you do some reading on how Mac OSX works!! I can get just about anything up and running no matter what OS it was written for, Xbox games easy! PS3 take a little longer and the easiest of the lot is anything designed to run on Windoze!

Downgrade your Mac OSX to Leopard or Snow Leopard if you have Lion or run a dual boot like I have (Lion as main boot as this is current and Snow Leopard for when I need to convert something from Microsoft to Mac) as the new OSX doesn’t support MS DOS and this can cause big headaches!

Acrobat 4 should be included in the download.
