the cd changer won't responding ( p38 1996 )

Hi i am having cd issues, brought a replacement today fitted it, it worked fine, now, 2 hours later nothing, no noise, no radio, which worked fine before, any ideas?

I have a hse 4.6 1999

If you have any magazine issues, get a new one, no amount of twiddling will cure it. As for a cd changer dying, what was wrong with the original? In any case go for line in/ aux in for any mp3 player, then if the autochanger goes, you are fine, also most phones will give you hands free telephone through the speakers.

if the entire element doesn't work, then, go and check the wires from behind...
