the best electronic ignition

i am thinking of putting in electonic points and would like to no wich ones to use, and how difficult is it to do, do i have to change the coil as well ive been told it improves mpg

Hi, I fitted an electronic distributor to my series 3 a couple of weeks ago. I was having trouble with the timing, it seemed to alter day by day. So I decided to go for a new electronic distributor. I bought one from "Ignitionland" who advertise on ebay, It was easy to fit and transformed the old girl. I have not tried any other makes but I expect they are all much the same.

MOD standard fitment for the Jaguar V12 Engine used in the scorpion light tank, one of the standard tests by Lumenition was to boil the ECM in water for 20 minutes, then fit it and the engine had to run first time.

I used to use this system on all my petrol Landy's 2.25 ltrs and V8's once fitted and set up never had any trouble again.

i have a series 3 77reg 88 so what distributer kit would i need its a black distributer cap with a flatish top to it ive bin told theres loads of different ones about
