Terrafirma / iCarsoft TF930 / i930 diagnostic

So.. these things retail for about £100. they cover all Landys which need it fenders, p38, Discoverys 2 to 4 Freelander 1 and 2. It can access live data and display & clear fault codes for all manner of systems in the vehicle. Think cheap nanocom with buttons instead of touch screen. In fact, think cheap Hawkeye with a colour screen!

HOWEVER..... are they actually any good? Is the price too good to be true? Anyone have any experience and/or comparison?

Until I find out more, I'm still all for Nanocom.

From info gleaned off other forums etc. the i930 does not have any programming capability.

Aye, it probably helps you tell you about the problems, not that it'll do anything to aid you with fixing them!

So in that sense, without knowing how to fix what the scanner is telling yourself, it becomes just a tool of what you might expect the MOT cost might be

True, but it will clear faults - so it'll get rid of the 3 amigos for instance.

Found this for you mate, it's a list of what it can/cannot do I believe - although it's a bit of a guess what the abbreviations actually mean..

Cheers Evo - I have looked at that table before, but like you I've no idea what CDV/DV actually mean
