After fitting new instrument cluster temp gauge doesn’t seem to be reading right last one was bang in middle this one seems lower all the time does anyone know what the coolant temp should be when read of the nanocom and then to next problem

If it's the diesel, the optimum running temperature is 95C. The gauge is normally just to the left of centre between about 80C to 105C but it varies a little from car to car.

Ok cheers will have to get binical out again I wanted to check the coolant temperature on the nanocom to see I’ve it was close I would think it’s not much different from what data posted on the diesel

Run it for about 30 minutes and it went up to 90c then dropped down to 88 so think all is good had to reset the eas got in started up and it said slow 35 I wouldn’t mind it’s not even got wheels on it still got problems with brake pressure on the pedal thou nanocom said pressure switch fault 1st time checking cleared fault tried again started up pumped pedal couple of times checked for faults no faults found any suggestions greatly appreciated mabey have to re bleed all the brakes got new accumulator on it

The brakes can be difficult to bleed.

Yer tell me about it I’ve already bled them but will get me mate from garage down the road to help I think but there doesn’t seem to be any air in the pipes will give it another try tho

My GEMS runs around 86 on the highway, 88 around town and gets up to around 95 if sitting in traffic on a hot day and high humidity.

I don’t think we get your temperature or humidity on the isle of Sheppy but will keep a check on the old temp thanks

My 99 with 4.6 cruises at 185F/85C. That is measured with an Autometer gauge with the sensor in the lower radiator hose. The dash Guage sits just left of center and hardly ever moves. I don't think I have ever gone above 210F/98C.
