tdi turbo how much play is ok ?

Took the engine out of my disco yesterday and all is well apart from some play in the turbo (small amount up and down and a very small amount side to side)

Engine ran and boosted well just not sure how much life may be left in the turbo

As long as it doesn't move in and out then a little side to side is okay as long as it doesn't touch the sides.

tdi turbo how much play is ok ?
