hi all, annoying,y my airbag light popped on yesterday.
Was thinking of getting the icarsoft i930 as I've heard they're pretty useful and at less than £100.
My question is will it be good enough to read the airbag codes and also turn off the light once the issue is fixed?
I've heard the airbag light can mean a dealer visit to turn it off.

Thanks in advance

I have used the Allcomms twice to sort mine and once on somebody else's, it takes a couple of goes sometimes and the airbag light flashes a few times in the process.
I think the fault was Battery Disconnect Unit, but not sure if it was that every time.
The short answer to your question is i don't know, but for £100 it is worth a crack, you could always sell it and buy an Allcomms if it doesn't work.
Had you dabbled with anything beforehand ?

I've got one on order so we'll see I guess.
Last thing I've messed with is the crankcase breather filter a week before the light came on. Prior to that was weeks ago.
I do a lot of short journeys on my work commute, 3 miles each way, I have noticed the battery getting a bit weak so have charged it up now and done a good run, light still on. After a few cycles.
Hoping it caused a hard fault due to low voltage that (fingers crossed) the i930 will clear

My recent occurrence was when my battery went flat on the back of a tow truck ....
I tried jumping it with another flat battery and it got all upperty and put the handbag light on and charging the battery didn't fix it but the lovely Allcomms did :)

Just an update on the icarsoft i930
It turned off the airbag light no problem
I've read and cleared other codes
It seems like a useful and easy to use tool to have around and at £100 you can't go wrong
