Hi all
I'm the new owner of a 2002 TD5 90 and very happy with the purchase but have come across a strange problem.
When doing about 60 mph, I occasionally see the temp guage jump up to maximum in the red and have loss of power for a second, easing back on the accelerator stops this and I can carry on driving with no other issues.
After trawling the forums I think I need to replace the injector loom and clean out the ECU in case of oil. I'm away from home all week but this is definitely on the agenda for this weekend.
From my reading I could also be looking at a dodgy MAF sensor - I think anyway!
From what I am experiencing, does this sound about the correct steps to take?
