Just got back from a skiing trip in France with the family, and another family (good friends of ours).
We were staying in the same house, and the layout of the drive meant a very sharp turn out on to the road in the morning.
His car (2002 facelift TD5) could get of of the drive and straight up the road.
Our car (2000 pre-facelift TD5) couldn't - I had to take two bites at it.
Did the steering lock/turning circle change pre and post facelift?
Or are there some steering stops which might be adjusted?
Or is our car more rubbish than his?
Car behaved perfectly by the way, 1500 miles in a week (or thereabouts).
Mind you, it needed to, considering all the grief it's given me since we bought it (oil cooler, cylinder head, suspension airbags, ignition switch)
