TD5 spare wheel

Is it possible to put the spare wheel on the bonnet of my td5 110 , have been told that the bonnet is not strong enough for it, but have just purchased a tonneau cover for it and want to relocate the spare wheel from the carrier on the back as it means having to the cover cut and re-stiched to get around the bracket, any help please would be most gratfuly received.

It is possible. But IIRC you'll need to either strengthen your existing bonnet or buy one with the wheel mount on it.
Either way you'll have a dirty great lump in the way of your foward vision.....
