Is there anyway to fit a pressure sensor and leave it there, maybe add a fuel pressure gauge somewhere. im pretty sure that would be very handy in diagnosing an engine problem. I was thinking a t connector where there is the fuel temperature sensor? not sure if there would be enough space cause i think it is pretty restricted

Should be too hard, maybe put a tee in the temperature connection on the fuel pressure regulator.
I bought a small led device which reads temperature, pressure, and voltage and displays it in colour, but still waiting to install it.

I machined a some steel to make a T piece and then used the fittings and one of the hoses from an old fuel pressure regulator to connect it all up inline.

Displayed the readings on one of the pressure readouts of my Madman EMS2 then.

Do you have a photo of how you set it up please? I dont quite understand where you put the T

I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow. The T-piece is put on the fuel feed line from the tank to the fuel pressure regulator
I think that the best way, you can tee into the temperature unit port but there's some risk of the sensor not getting into the fuel flow and the temperature readings could lag slightly.
Would also be interested to see your setup.

Yep, that would be the easiest way but as you point out it might affect the temperature reading somehow. not sure how accurate it needs be though :)

Just put it together quickly on a engine I've out on the ground to make it handier to see :)

One I've done for the Defender is abit neater and tidier but this just to show how it works on the pipes. For a Discovery, I'd go with a flexible hose on the regulator side too due to engine being tight enough to the bulkhead. Can mount the sender on the bulkhead or somewhere out of the way then too

It's a VDO sender and T-piece is just some machined alloy with M10x1 thread for the sender on the T and then two ports to take the TD5 fuel pipe barbs

Could make another couple for people but they're quite easy to do really.

I was thinking of using something like this at the port where to pipes attached. So basically a t piece but instead to extend the temperature sensor, extends one of the pipes attached to the fpr

my previous post would not work and an adapter as described by DaveM-sport is better.

I would take you up for that offer if you re still up for it . let me know

main question is, did you use a custom made pipe between fpr and adapter?

also, another option can be to cut one of the rubber hoses and fit an adapter like this. i expect i would need to be quite mad to do it though :D :
