seen as i have been toying with the idea that I might have had to have the head done due to luke warm heaters and a slight use of coolant for the past 2 months of owning the td5 , I decided enough was enough and have spent all morning investigating,
I have previously tried bleeding up the system as it had apparently had a new head and turbo fitted when I got it , but it never made any difference so today all the matrix pipes and thin metal water pipes got 200 psi out of the compressor ,,, all I can say is wow..... huge amounts of old rusty claggy gunk finally flew out of the matrix , gave the system a couple of good flushes and now the heaters are TOO HOT car is or seems to be running cooler and smoother ,
just thought I would share me good mood...
