Hi, i recently bought a 03 landy discovery td5.. now this is my first diesel and i dont know much.. actually im a complete novice to diesel and landrover all in all... so i need some help..
The cars in a beautiful condition and drives descent but ive noticed that it wont go over 3000rpm, and this means in 5th gear it cuts at about 130kmh... which is... well not fast enough as i bought it for the sole purpose of going on the open road...
Anybody know what could be causing this?? Also the consumption is quite high for a diesel... im gettin about 1km per litre of diesel... and in SA diesels selling at R12.50/l, so this is quite high... is it normal? I've been to landrover and they quoted me R1500 just for an assesment!! PLEASE HELP!!!
