Well, my td5 was having a starting and cutting out problem. Long story short, i changed the injector seals and problem was solved, cars been fine for a good 500 miles until the other day.
It is now misfiring, starts and runs ok, but the misfire is pretty bad, the car shakes quite violently and wont pull properly.
The injector harness was changed but after a long journey i found more oil in the red plug on the ecu and cleaned it out again and tried but the misfire is still there.
Took rocker off, reset all injector clearances and re seated all the injector harness plugs.
Not sure where to go now.
Could the ecu be shafted from oil which got into it?
