Hello, feel like at my wits end with this vehicle. I have a nice td5, apart from the top end is shocking, it really struggles after 65mph. Down low seems fine, ive tried fuel filter, air filter, new maf, maf unplugged, wastegate actuator, everything. On my scanner the engines getting a nice 30.5psi absolute pressure in the manifold, so i dont think its a boost leak. Any ideas?

Ive got another cheap disco 2 td5 with a blown HG i got for spares and that seems to hit 80 no problems, they pull about the same until 50mph

Sorry. I suggested Wastegate actuator then reread your intial post. My bad. The only sensor you seem not to have mentioned is the one on the inlet manifold, The Map/iat. I find if this is dirty it make a big difference. don't take long to take it off and give it a good clean!

Me neither as I have never had to test the one on mine, but if you google how to test a fuel pump on a TD5 you may find the answer.
I think @sierrafery may be able to help.
Best of luck mate, this must be royally fecking you off!!

Delaminated inlet/intercooler hoses!
not unheard of by any means. Often only shows up when they are being really sucked on at high revs.
so difficult to see at standstill.
Try swopping those from your other engine and examining the ones on the dodgy engine. Cheap fix if this is what it is!
