TD5 indicator/hazards fault

Hi all,
I seem to have a problem with my 51 plate (2002) TD5 110 defender.
I noticed today when indicating that the trailer light on the dash flashed aswell. Jumped into my motor this afternoon and indicators/Hazards don't work. It looked as though my hazard warning switch was partially down. When I have inspected things closer I found that the plastic on the fuse for the indicators was slightly melted but the fuse not blown. I have checked all other fuses connected with this system, all are ok but can't get them to work. When I depress the hazard button I can hear the relay click. Is this the same relay for both Hazard and indicators.
Any help would be greatly recieved

The trailer light is supposed to flash once every time you indicate and the relay for the indicators on an 03 defender td5 is behind the fuse box,i dont know if that applies to a 2002 model though.I had a problem with mine last week and i took it out and cleaned the connection up and everything seems to be ok now.
