I have a 05 TD5 130/ fuel pump
Removed cleaned packed up due to rubbish fuel here in Africa. After refitting pump/ tank etc... Discovered air lock
In fuel system, removed tank, lines, and pump. Now have discovered (blue) out-going fuel line/ at pump- the o-ring is damaged, the other three line connector ports have one yellow and one red o-ring inside, but the blue only has one black o- ring.
Does anyone know if this is factory specs
Or am I missing some o-rings from the blue line- where it fits into the pump housing??
Any help would be appreciated. The dealers here only lie to dupe one out of a lot of money.

I did check, and yes I did find oil in the red male plug( wire loom) I did clean with break cleaner as others also have said and done. This is a band-aid on a sore. A lot of mechanics are like doctors, "here try this pill, if no change come back and we will try something else'!! With all that I have now read on other folks threads and speaking with LR UK it seems most folks still do not have a clue. There are several who all have the same issue as I do, yes the TD5 runs great when it runs, but so does a VW Beetle!
I have checked every possible connection from fuel pump to fuel pressure regulator at eng. Seems to me that with the HP feed
( fuel line) straight to the regulator that not only is this a very poor design by LR and dangerous to the fuel injectors.
