I'm not thinking of doing it, just wondering, but does the TD5 go in a series, on the series's original box?, anyone seen one of these, the TD5 must be comming down a bit in price now that were seeing them being weighed in more.
C'mon Teff's put me off.

Who is going to do the electrics now that Albert Einstein is dead?

I've been chopping the wiring on a 450,000 pound machine:eek: so a td5 would be easy

space wise anything would fit with some work
but the wireing now thats a difrent matter
you find that on anything newish that the diffrent control unit (ecu) talk to each other if you could find a disco of defender with a td5 that has a manual gearbox then you have half a chance
best bet is geta rolled vehicle complete so that you get everything to transfer

go on dr p be the first
you know it makes sence
:praise:

Wiring is not so much of a problem , if it runs in the donor, it'll run in a series.
I transplanted a rover t series into a mini with ecu transponder and security system, as long as it works in the first place.
I was thinking more about the engine block's mounts and gearbox bellhousing fittings.

hey all missed me LOL

happy halloween and guy forks night and all the other stuff just wanted to know even if one did fit i hope they do because thats SERIEAS next enging i hope any way can you change or relocate the ecu so that it looks like it dont have one so in other words the c.u./n.t dont have to have one as i hate the v8's even though just bought a 5door classic heavy springs full leather electrical interia new all terrain tyres stainless steel straight through 3.5 efi cb radio sagged lining rangey 150£ only 44000 miles any way hate v8's and td5's for there water allergy

How's your 300Tdi 109" conversion coming on then mate? I got a bit sick of spending all my spare time on my 200 tdi conversion project, but I intend to get it sorted soon.
