Afternoon Folks,

The heater fan in my TD5 has just stopped working. Not a good time of the year for that to happen! Checked the fuse and it seems fine. Any other suggestions?

Cheers!

1. Try putting a direct feed into the heater (be careful as it will jump a bit).
2. Check for a poor connection.
3. Check if the motor turns manually.
4. Keep the thread going as there is a lot of knowledge here.

Thanks Bluehaze

Spent sometime today checking it out. Found the heater box and yes you're right - a tad awkward. It looks like I will need to drain the colling system if I want to dismantle and take it out.
Are there are quick electrical checks I can do before I go to the bother of takign it out?
Cheers!

Check if you have a live going to the heater and that the earth is ok before you try pulling it out. Also see if you can spin the motor by hand - another words free of obstruction.
