Td5 Fuel tank ?

does anyone know how the tank is held down there is something about straps? how many is there on a 90 ???

I think there were 1 or 2 straps listed. cannot locate the PN now. other than that the cradle holds the tank securely against the underside of the tub and the rear cross member. Mine rattles a bit (fitted as an auxillary tank to my 300tdi) so I need to get them straps on when I next drop the tank.

Wfs100530 is the part number ! Just found it in the parts catalogue dont know if there is one or two though ill have too experiment ! I think you may also have to make the mounts on the chassis if its a 300tdi one bevause the straps mount there !

interesting. do you have a link? My mounts are bolted to the ARB mounts on the chassis (measured and custom made). At the mo, its just held in place with the cradle and bottom of the tub. I would think a ratchet strap around the tank and cradle would sort it! be good to see a pic though.
