I have a diesel leak down the back of the engine so I’m assuming the regulator is leaking. I see you can buy a complete one for £75 or get a refurb kit for around £25. Would the unknown brand new one be a better bet or should I keep the original one and put in new seals/gaskets ??

I had two FPR’s leak on my old Td5 disco. The first was a cheap one which lasted all of a month. The second was a genuine one which lasted two years and was still not leaking when I sold the vehicle.
A friend tried repairing using new O-rings but it didn’t last either.

That’s what I was thinking but had seen a video with them changing the o rings and gaskets and wondered if it was an option or not.
