Hi, woke up this morning to find a puddle of coolant behind the o/s front wheel. Coolant level in header tank dropped down about 3mm. Upon checking it out after removing the engine cover, I see a weep of coolant from the front end of the fuel cooler. Has anyone removed this cap, and if so is it just an O ring in there that seals it? New cooler assy from dealer is £240+blood, ouch.

Looks like it will come apart, just wondering if anyone had one apart before.

thanks!

Si.

they arent designed to be taken apart, it's all press fit and rivet/seam welded - if you did get it back together again it'd wee all over the place - i got hold of a couple when i was playing with heating fuel (for which the cooler is very very good) and took one apart just to see it's guts

get yer wallet out or PM me if you want one of me spare ones

Do you have the one with the black plastic end caps that have 3 notches aligning it with the body held in with the zero clips on the ends. (Clips that you need special tool to get undone)?

Thanks,
Si.
