id like to remap my ecu but i want to buy the equipment myself i understand the ecu requires a different internal chip are there any links on the procedure
I’m in the motor the last thing I want to do is put money in somebody else’s pocket when it involves a motor
I assume the OP is in the motor trade, so presumably he doesn't have access to an ESD safe workstation or suitably sized ESD safe tools.So just load your map with the software and solder it in place I assume?

Does the old ECU use SMT or do the chips have legs?
