Hi all my 03 td5 discovery 2 cut out and wouldn't start fuel pump wouldn't run so replaced pump and filter.
Can still struggled to start and when starts running very rough changed injector loom still no fix plugged in no fault codes on system any ideas cheers

Could be injector seals/washers.
Could be fuel filter or housing.
Or fuel pressure regulator.
If it was running fine before pump died and now it doesn't then it may still be pump related, especially if it is a cheap one.
My son had an issue where it didn't start well and ran rough, we changed fuel filter housing and it was fine afterwards.
Fitted a new pump when it cut out last week similar to you, good as new after running a purge cycle.

There could also be an issue with cleanliness... tank...pipework, etc. Peeps have found some funny stuff blocking everything up.

Pump was a fairly expensive one and put new filter on but I am still aiming down the fuel side possibly filter housing next

You could check fuel pressure if you buy a guage, will be a thread about it somewhere.
Did it run fine before it broke down?
We fitted a vdo pump which was £320, Land Rover a couple of hundred quid more.

So I've also now done the filter housing still no change would there be any other symptoms with the injector seals

If you rechecked all your work I guess there is a possibility it's not fuel related and it's a coincidence perhaps.
Maybe reading some live data might be helpful?
Hopefully @sierrafery would have some helpful ideas, he has a lot of experience with such things.

Did this ever get resolved? Have same issue 2004 TD5 Disco 2. It was fine two days ago filled up with fuel for trip, next day started running lumpy and then failed. Found oil on red ECU connector cleaned and fitted injector harness. Can get it going, lots of cranking but still same problem. Will now do filter and have new pump to try but strange it started after filling up? Any ideas? Also looks like fuel might be seeping out of top of tank? Still investigating?

The top of the tank is easy to see if the fuel is coming from the seal or pipe connections otherwise follow the pipes as they have a habit of rubbing through and therefore causing a leak.
