A little while ago my fuel pump was screaming like a banshee and after reading on this forum I replaced the fuel filter which at first muted it a little. I next replaced a very corroded filter housing and also the air bleed fitting. This had an immediate effect and the pump was quiet. After about 200 miles the noise has returned and is the same volume whether the engine is running or not. Engine starts ,runs and drives fine. Any suggestions gratefully received. The vehicle is a 52 plate 110 HCPU. Cheers.
