TD5 cutting out

Hi, I’ve just driven my TD5 (2001) home and as I was parking it up the engine cut out. Tried restarting and the engine turns over fine and almost catches but then dies again. There’s no issues with engine oil or fuel and I believe the battery is absolutely fine. Does anyone have any ideas what might be the issue? I’m thinking electrics but I’m no expert! It’s used regularly and has been running absolutely fine so very out of character. Thanks in advance. Matt

Is the diesel filter in the drivers side rear wheel arch showing signs of a leak? Had the same problem with my TD5 - the leaking filter was drawing air into the fuel lines. Have done a few local trips since the filter was replaced with no repeat of the issue.
