TD5 boost gauge fitment

Hi all,
I've got a boost gauge to fit to my '04 TD5 90, i brought an EGR delete with a pipe nipple for the gauge.
I'm just wondering where the best place it to run the tube through the bulkhead?
furthermore, i'd rather not pull the dash apart to mount it, so i was thinking about a gauge pod on top of the dash (right), would it be easy to run the tube up to here?
lastly, the 12V for the back light, I assume i can take this from anything at illuminates with the side and headlights?

Most remove the crappy clock. 4 screws to remove the binicle. Run the tube through the existing rubber holes in the bulkhead, near the header tank.

Can take any side light feed, orange brown trace i think
