Td5 2003 auto gearbox

Just fiited a recon gearbox to my td5 when drive is selected it stalls the engine even without the handbrake being applied. Spoke to the chap who reconned the box & he assured me all his work is good & perhaps I should fit a new ecu. Anyone had a similar problem

wat was original problem to me sounds like your being fobbed off!!

Lost traction, torque converter broke away from mounting, it was recommended that due to potential contamination to gearbox I replaced that as well. Up to losing traction all was running well

His fix hasnt fixed it and he's mugging you off big time and Just guessing!!

it does sound like you are being stitched up but i no expert on auto's

I thought that in the first place, I was giving the guy who did the reconditioning the benifit of the doubt. It looks like he's going to get a visit from a very angry & cheesed off fitter tomorrow. Thanks for taking time to answer.
