Td4 warning light on

Have O5 plate td4 if you floor it or go up a hill in any of the gears it puts the warning light on on the right of the dash the engine one with a ! in it and lacks power.

if you ease off the light goes out hasnt logged any fault codes. it will also put the light on if you floor it at a stand still and it wont rev higher than about 3500rpm

have cheched all turbo pipes and all seem fine. if i take the vac pipe off the turbo actuator it makes no difference.

sees to be getting worse i have tested everything i can think of i have plumbed in gauge in low pressure fuel line if i dead head the pump i will get about 4 bar.

but with it running i get about 1.5 to 2 bar if i rev up the engine the pressure drops to nothing and then fault light is on and engine will only rev up to 3000rpm.

if i leave ignition on till pump stops priming and then start it will rev round to limiter for short while.

so i think the low pressure pump has failed any ideas on what the pressure the pump should kick out with engine running?

would anybody know whear the low pressure fuel sensor located on a 55 plate freelander

if anyones interested fitted new low pressure pump fixed it

your symptoms sound like mine that started yesterday. Am taking to my trusted garage so good to know what to suggest might be wrong
