Freelander 1 TD4 Service Kit.

Hello all.

Spring is that time of year for me to get the F/Lander service done.

I don't mind spending a few quid extra on a decent service kit, but in the past, when i have, i have not got the quality i feel i was promised on the well known internet auction site.

I am after a good service kit for a 03 TD4, If possible with the rubber 'o'rings in the oil filter housing that i'm sure must need changing.

Any links or advice welcome Pals.

I go to a local motor spares, and always say, 'none of the cheap stuff'.
They usually have 2 books for reference. 1 full of cheap ****e bollox for the monkeys who think 'it all comes out the same factory'
The 2nd one has the quality stuff in. You might have to order it, but it usually turns up the next day. And you get to see it first.

Does anyone know what the Bearmach service kits are like? I presume cheap means not the best of quality!

Bearmach is very similar to Brit part. Some of its great value for money, some is utter garbage.

Not had a problem with Bearmach parts.

I think instead of E*ay i'll try local auto outlets. That way you can see what your getting on the spot.
