Td4 rough idle.

Hi all.
Apologies if this has been covered.
We have a 02 plate Td4.
The fuel pump(in tank) failed at xmas, replaced it and all fine.
Recently the car started running really rough on idle, shaking the whole car like it was only on 3 cylinders. As soon as the revs rise it is fine, until it goes back to idle. No smoke or diesel smell.
Put injector cleaner through, no difference.
The it got harder to start, then refused to start, took it in and the garage found that a pipe on the fuel pump had worked loose. It came back running fine.
Now started running rough again, checked pipe and is fine.
Have now noticed a slight oil leak around the bottom end somewhere, checked the oil level and it seemed a little high, no water or anything in it. Oil was changed fairly recently (before this started) could it be related? any ideas?

Have also noticed that the glow plug light no longer comes on, but that would only explain rough cold starting, not once it's warm.

if you've a higher oil level than what it was after the oil change ..
and your'e sure there's no water in the oil ..
then the addition more than likely be diesel fuel ..

check high pressure fuel pump seals .. and injectors ..

btw: when checking oil level .. be sure to dip-the-stick a couple of times
if not you'll probably get a false reading ..
