Hi - Can anybody shed any light on what could be causing this issue ?

I have a FL TD4 '05 plate.

About 3 months ago the engine management light was displayed when 2000rpm was reached and there was no power beyond that.

I replaced both fuel pumps, filters and cam sensor and it seemed to have cleared the fault until yesterday when the light displayed again at 2000rpm. I've also noticed that the FL now takes about 5 engine turns before it fires - where as before it started on the first turn. I did have a Synergy2 fitted which I have removed to eliminate this from the fault finding.

I viewed the ECU code state- P1190 - which I think refers to fuel rail pressure is this correct ???. (I also replaced the MAF yesterday and placed injector cleaner in the fuel - no joy)

I'm now at a loss as to what the next step should be to resolve this...

any idea's ???

Thanks

Jamie

if it is the fuel rail pressure it'll prob be the rail pressure sensor, there is a modified kit available that replaces the sensor and wiring to the ecu. other than that i've known the variable vane turbo cause similar effects
