Hi,

After I have been running on the motorway for 20mins the engine warning light comes on between 65 and 70mph and I loose power. It mantains the current speed but nothing happens when the accelerator is pressed. There is also a low whine before the warning light comes on. Then when I slow down the light goes out and the power comes back.
I have taken it to a LR specialist but they are stumped. It is reporting a turbo inlet fault but they have checked the turbo and hoses and all are OK.

Has anyone seens this before or can advise on a possible cause?

ere Aussielander - joke fur ya.......

An Aussie bloke is having a quiet drink in a bar and leans over to the big guy next to him and says, 'Do you wanna hear a Kiwi joke?

The big guy replies, 'Well mate, before you tell that joke, you should know something. I'm 1.90 m tall, 125 kg and I played as a forward for the All Blacks."

"The guy next to me is 1.85 m, weighs 115 kg and he's an ex-All Black lock."

"Next to him is a bloke who's 2 m tall, weighs 120 kg and he's a current All Black second rower. Now do you still want to tell that Kiwi joke?"

The first bloke says, "Nah, not if I'm going to have to explain it three times."

Cheers Optimus Prime. Found the filter, checked it but could not find anything wrong. The problem seems to have gone though. Fingers crossed.... Perhaps the hose was kinked. Cheers anyway.
The car had just been serviced when this happened so all filters are new.

this particular filter, along with crankcase breather filter doesnt appear on the service schedule, so maybe worth a check anyway. esp. crankcase breather filter, only £22 genuine part, takes about an hour first time, but consequences of not changing it...
