TD4 driveshaft oil seal replacement.

Hello everyone,

I've just joined the forum and my opening problem I hope is not too difficult.

I noticed an oil leak from the rear diff area and after cleaning it up, it was apparent the nearside drive shaft was leaking from where it enters the diff. The Haynes description of the job to replace the seal looks straight forward enough.

Has anyone got any experience of replacing that seal?

Okay, not to worry!

I'll report back when I do the job, so its on the system.

Just got to find a torque wrench that goes up to 400NM!!
