td4 clutch master cylinder

just fitted a new one as clutch pedal was low . small leak inside car when i took old one off . just a quick question the coupling to went together fine . am i right in thinking that if the coupling wasnt connected properly when i press the clutch pedal the coupling would come apart .just want to make sure its together correctly .

Depends how loose it is. Could just let air in or fluid out.

Give it a few solid presses on the pedal then check for visible leaks, obviously an air leak isn't so easy to see but will give you a spongy peddle.
