Td4 Boost pressure

Ey up y'all.

Does anyone know what pressure the Td4 engine boosts too please?

I managed to get 8.8 PSI (0.6 BAR). I've googled and searched. Can find info for the L series but not a Td4. L series boosts to 17PSI. I believe the Td4 should be also somewhere near this figure.

Does anyone have a boost gauge on their td4 and can tell me waht theirs boosts to?

I have a feeling the MAP sensor may be faulty, possibly due to gunk. I did try and clean with Carb Cleaner whilst I had the manifold off.
Maybe I should try Brake Cleaner?

I have sealed the slight leak I had on this inlet manifold and now it's leak free. (It will be swapped out when I get the new one here. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday)

If I unplugged the MAP sensor, does the ECU provide a default boost value?

Just to clarify, My Hippo is running 100% better now that the manifold has been replaced. The boost pressure is now peaking at 18.8PSI and dropping to 17.5psi. I hope this helps others. The app I used was Torque on an Android phone.

Read this thread the other day and , so over this weekend made note of what my scangauge read on a run , map/boost pressure was 15 + under load at 82 mph , the max I dared , could my map sensor be dodgy ?
