Hello to all: I´m new to this forum, with a recently acquired TD4 2006 blue Freelander, with just 60,000 kms I though I´ve got a deal, but...I´m in Chile, not many mechanics that know how to maintain such a car.

To make a long story short, i get loss of power at about 70/80Kms on an uphill route or at 120 kms p/h on a flat road. ( i have changed all filters, oil, even the admission multiple which was fractured from bad maintenance and the oil pump, which burned because the cables were loose and eventually made a short)
I became a member since i found a post on-line from this site about changing the solenoid, yet I have discovered that behind the engine body, right where the oil cap is, there is a rigid tube that has fitted a filter, and there is a soft hose that is loose right next to it...the mechanic I have, although good and dedicated, has not been able to find where this soft hose connects to...before I change other parts on this landy, anyone with a hint as to where it may fit this hose?
Many thanks in advance!
