Anybody have information regarding the relationship between tachometer and speedometer readings in the various gears
 
Checked readings from Tacho and Speedo seems to me that the Tacho is showing about 500rpm too many. Anybody any ideas as to why this should be?

My guess is that it's the speedo which is out. Are your tyres standard size?

Try it again against a GPS/Sat Nav. If you have a iphone, download Witness or Road Angel. :D
 
Speedo is ok, shows about 10% fast which it has always done. Think the alternator pully sized may be wrong since the problem only started when the alternator was replaced. Does anyone have the measurement for the pulley?
 
Unfortunately it has died. The cylinder head is cracked so now up for sale as spares or repair.

Need to start looking for a fresh one.
