T/belt on an auto edc converted to man pump

Going to sort the cambelt out on my 300 tdi discovery soon with a friend whos done a few manual ones.

However Its an 1996 300 tdi edc auto converted to mechanical pump
Is there anything different doing an autos belt compared to a manuals belt ?
Also anything different because its an edc converted to a manual pump ? IS the timing still the same ?

I looked on ebay at timing pins that hold stuff in place but they say not for edc but its still got the ecu etc just runs a mechanical inj pump. I am Well confused now.

Finally any advice welcome or any recommend a decent cam belt kit ?

edc auto uses different crank pin at rear ,but crank inner pulley has a mark as has case at 12 oclock 9.5mm drill bit will do for pump and cam has mark too at 8 oclock,timing is the same for both
