Swopping tyres, will they fit?

Hi, i have a 300tdi xs, with the allow wheels with the tyre size 235/70/R16 and i want to swop tyres with a freind who has a classic range rover with tyres on steels, the size for them are 205/80/R16. will my tyres fit on his steels for him and his tyres on my allows? Thanks for your help

yes those tyres are interchangeable
