hi all can the swivel pins be ajusted to get rid of any play in the swivel

You remove shims to remove play in the swivel pins......unless they are completely worn out in which case you need to replace the bearing and bearing race in the swivel ball.
Do a search on here for "swivel preload setting", I am sure that there is a thread about it somewhere.
