Swivel leak, not the normal problem

As a couple of you will know as part of my rebuild I replaced the seals on both swivels along with the retaining plates, bearings etc.

But one of the swivels is leaking from under the plate

Anyone had this before? Or any ideas what could cause it.

I have had the retaining plate off and cleaned behind it but it still leaks.

Could I just use some kind of sealant around the edge or something?

The swivels are still shiny and there isn't any pitting.

Seal has not sat in housing right, pop seal out again clean then put a bead sealant on outer edge and replace.

Ok, thanks. I will do that when it warms up a bit. Shame I filled it back up with another one shot grease...
