Gotta say it looks pretty good to me apart from needing a jet wash and Waxoyl. Can't see the area that it failed on too clearly but that would usually be the flat spring seats that go. If that's the case they cost very little to buy and don't take more than an hour to prep and weld!
 
Thanks to a friendly forum member I had the bad bits pointed out to me today, the white chalk marks helped..doh!

For some reason the MOT didn't pick up on the damage this side

Rear cross member has been repaired in the past, Probably seek to get this replaced at the same time as the rest of the chassis welding

I can now appreciate there may be a slight leak in the exhaust...

So does anyone have recommendations for a welder in sussex that can handle these kind of repairs ?
 
Was the fender advertised as solid when you bought it from yan ?

Think you were the same one who bought it anyway if not ignore but if so then I'd ask for a partial refund towards the work if it was advertised as solid
