Hi Guys

Considering upgrading my shocks, I believe the gas filled shocks are good, any other mods I can do to improve ride and general suspension.

Don't have the cash to buy another so may as well spend it on the one I have.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I've just replaced the dampers (& springs) on our 160,000 mile TD5 with Britpart Supergaz. Despite the initial worries about the dampers being almost too cheap, the ride is much better than before. It doesn't crash over big bumps / speedhumps any more & definitely feels more stable - even the wife recognised a positive difference.
I hope the dampers live upto their 24,000 mile / 2 yr guarantee.

I'd originally thought that nackered dampers ought to be a smoother (but uncontrolled) ride - as on previous cars - but this has proved me wrong !
