Slob/Yella et all,
Got to say, have found this thread a giggle to read, just had to keep ducking out the way of the handbags swinging...

Tenpennorth coming in..Flouro elastomers & Hydroflouric acid are a real hazard, but mainly found in wiring looms and gaskets/drive belts as stated. It may also be found in some bushes on newer cars.FACT. Not gonna affect us unless you drive a rangie sport....

End of the day, drill em, burn em, push em out with your dick, however you do it use some common dog**** in protecting yourself.

Currently bending over to be shagged up the arse by youse lot...:p

lumping fook!!! look ere mr crashyboy we don't need yer floral unpronucables and yer hydroelectric acid in ere . we did a poll and it clearly states that no **** has been injurd while burning oot bushes except the **** that did it from underneath and got burnt... this is a case where fact over rides theory. .it is afact that bushes have been burnt oot and nocunt has died from it ... just ask moses , he was the first **** to come in contact with a burning bush and he was still fit and healthy enough to carry 10, ( he dropped the one that said "thou shall not buy a gaylander"), heavy stone slabs down a hill..

Slob,
I'm not gonna argue with you mate, I know burning out bushes is a common practice, as is drilling the fukas out, I know it works and as you say no-one has died from it, thankfully as ashoofack says landy bushes are good old fashioned rubber, all I say is be aware if the spec of those bushes change, burning will not be a safe option. Look mate, I'm a Firefighter, its been common knowledge for us lot for years that when cars burn there's a hell of a lot of nasty **** given off. The whole fluoro elastomers bollocks only came to light when a mechanic ended up in hospital with his bones disintegrating inside him. Hydrofluoric acid is bad bad ****...without any flowery stuff, hydrofluoric acid loves calcium, i.e. bones. If you get any of it in your system, basically say goodbye to the limb its in. So far aside from the mechanic snuffing it, a traffic cop has lost both arms below the elbow, and one firefighter from strathclyde has lost a hand and half his forearm.

Slob et all, Personally I think Hoss was up his own arse, and way too sensitive for this board. Just be aware that what was common practice and perfectly safe may well get left behind as technology progresses.

Can I just say in finishing that it is nice to see that Slob's standards have been consistant from start to finish, and his abilities to rip the **** out of people are unimpeachable..Time to stand up for the **** flinging again...:p

Wish Moses hadn't been such a clumsy fooka, I might not have even walked into this one.....

i don't think anyone doubt that there are some nasty **** chemical and **** fumes floating about when a car is burning , but the original bollocks was about burning bushes out which as has been stated ...use common sense and you'll survive the ordeal
