After lifting my Defender 2" the passenger side radius arm is now only about 4mm from the chassis.

My nearest Landy servicing depot told me an adjustable panhard rod would open it out slightly. Anyone know if this is the right way to go? Or is there more to it?

search correction bushes perhaps and see what steps others have done with lift kit

Cheers for the replies. The problem is laterally orientated so I don't know if bushes will help. I've read that thread through about 4 times before and can't see anything in there that corresponds to my problem other than he mentions adjustable panhard rod. But I was under the impression that panhard rods are for sorting your tracking out.

The pictures that I've included are of;
1 - driver's side radius arm/chassis clearence (8mm),
2 - passenger side radius arm/chassis clearence (4mm),

The front of the vehicle would be at the top of the pictures. The masking tape is so that I can check for rubbing every now and then.

The lift pushes the axle to one side, making it off-centre (about 5 - 6mm in my case). This affects steering, tyre wear and, as you know, puts the radius arm too close to the chassis.
Fitting an adjustable panhard rod enables you to re-centre the axle and even up the chassis clearance each side.
