P38A Suspension / EAS fault on cold mornings

My EAS seems to be working fine except on cold mornings when after about 5 mins it errors, still stays pumped up and level and once the engine is warmed up a restart normally clears it. Plugging the laptop in and running the diags it shows RR Signal Incorrect.
I have taken the white connection in the passenger foot well apart, cleaned it with contact cleaner and dried with hair dryer. I have given all the sensors a visual check and nothing seems to be damaged.
Could I remove each sensor one at a time and properly clean them? or will this need the heights doing?
I am guessing the potentiometer on the RR might be dirty or worn?
Is there anything else to investigate?

Contact cleaner may not be enough on the white connectors, any trace of green corrosion needs to be removed and it may take a scrape to remove all traces from the plastic and a rub with a swiss file on the pins could help.
You can remove the sensor with a door open, but before you do that, check the connector, corrosion is a common problem. If you do remove the sensor, you may get away without re-calibrating. Also check the connectors in the EAS box, plug and unplug a few times also with a door open.

You can do a rough test on the sensors without removing them using an ohm meter unplug the connector, pop the operating arm off so you can move it through the full range and watch the meter open circuit spots as you move the arm.

Guess the rear-right sensor connection itself might be suspect. It certainly sounds like it is damn getting in somewhere.
