HI All,

Sorry if this post is in the wrong place. I have a problem with my RangeRover L322 3.0 TD6. I was driving home from london today and all of a sudden a message popped up saying "Suspension Fault normal height only". It went away by it self after a minute, any way I got home and looked at the car in more detail and saw that the rear right suspension was lower than all the others, by almost 15-20mm. I checked that the air suspension is moving up and down.

Also when I bought the vehicle a month after I had a air suspension fault which went away by it self, the EAS went in to Hard Fault, however parked it up and next morning fixed it self.

Could these two problems be linked and if so what do you think the problem and costs involved are. From reading the forums I think it may be the ride height sensor. I would like to see if others have had similar issues.

Thanks in advance!

Possibly a dicky sensor.

i fookin hate this new layout, i tried quoting and replying to the OP's first thread, but he says its an L322 3.0 TD6 unless i am reading the wrong post...
The old layout always had the sub heading of what model it was but this new layout it seems to be hit and miss

It is an L322 so your Allcomms call was correct. I thought it was a P38. Sorry.:oops:

No bother mate, it wouldn't be the first time I had 'helped' somebody with the P38 by mistake as I know nothing about them, and it's fairly sketchy what I think I know about the L322.

Whats the preferred diagnostics tool for the post 04 models without going to the faultmate expense, is there a clear runner like the all comms ?
Besides, the OP has probably fooked off to a garage and forgot he even posted this

Don't know are they not all supposed to be OBDII compliant after 2004. Or is that just engine systems and forced into a dealer for everything else?

Just engine and Gearbox needs to be OBDII compliant...

For the later models, the IIDTool by Gapdiagnostics is supposed to be very good, BBS do a Nanocom for the later models, obviously there is the Faultmate Extreme models, Lynx, Snap On etc.....but by far the best is the BBS products.

I'm very lucky to have picked up the extreme very cheaply and I'll keep it as I'm sure it will be worth more than the RR one day.
Have you fixed that transmission yet Ant?

I think you should do your vanos first before I have to..
You are booking it in for the transmission aren't you, no faffing around removing it?
I'll help you to take it out and then you could send it off to Phil for the 5 star make over.
Are you anywhere near Hayes?

Is that so you can follow a How To :D:D:D

Yep, gonna book it in and get someone else to have faff...Love to do it myself, but lack of time and also she who must be obeyed said as it is an expensive and crucial piece of kit, get someone else to do it that way if they bog it up, I have a recourse...they'll guarantee their work for 1 2months, whereas if I did it and bog it up, thats a bit of money gone!

Why Hayes??

That's fair mate
I have been around that way a bit recently that was all and it seemed near your place but I couldn't remember where your place was that was all.
