Morning All.

Looking at replacing the springs and dampeners on my Landy, it ex-military and has the part numbers from the part catalog for my version. My confusion comes from the springs, I know that most Defenders have slightly different sizes for each side. The part number in the catalog for my front springs is NRC9446 which seems to be the standard for the drivers' side. however, it says to use the same spring on both sides. it asking for a matching pair on the rear also, part number RKB101060. has anybody come across this before?

Cheers

Only original type Land Rover springs come handed, aftermarket are mostly just paired front and rear. For normal every day I say stick to standard springs.

I put the same springs on mine, left to right, non handed. I didn’t like the way the defender sat when you looked at it. It was always leaning over one way, used to drive me nuts. Same springs left to right and problem solved.

I use this chart for spring reference.
