Hi there I'm new to Landu zone . Would like to pick the brains or you more experienced lads / girls . I've a 07 3.6 Range Rover and after loosing considerable power and the engin system fault light coming on , I was told by a family friend it was the turbo down after he wired it up to a engin fault finder . He said it could be very costly to sort . Can anybody help me and tell me what are my options . Cheers Joe
 
Body off job to do the turbos,is it smoking?i fixed one which was down on power ,get underneath probably have to removed underbody protection,look up each side of engine you will see both turbos,on the one I fixed the actuator rods were sticking,you will see them easily enough,just give them a good spray with penetrating oil,get a long bar and gently tap them and make sure they are free to move,if they are stuck solid this is most likely your cause,but go easy on them you don't want to bend or damage them,the one I done is still going strong after 2 years,hope your fix is as easy as the one I did or could get very expensive

Hi dove thanks for the time mate . The advice is a great help . I'm getting no smoke out the back . I'll give what you've said a go as soon as the weather gets a bit dryer . If it works it would be great . ( fingers crossed ) been loosing a bit of sleep lol . Will get back mate . Joe
